HCA 510 Health Indusustry and Business Models
This course examines the variety of distinct products and markets that compose the Health Care Industry. These include hospitals, long-term care, HMO's, physician offices, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, medical devices, insurance and medical informatics products. Each marketplace would be examined in the course, with attention paid to the financial performance of the firms in each marketplace, the kinds of business models by the leading firms, and the marketing approaches used in each marketplace to reach customers.
