Sports Nutrition (Certificate)
The Certificate in Sports Nutrition (CSN) enables health and wellness professionals to expand their area of practice.The program is offered fully online, and provides a framework to help students prepare for the Certified Health/Fitness Instructors Exam through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), which is offered separately through the ACSM.
Students must hold an undergraduate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. college or university or an institution of higher education abroad that is recognized by the Ministry of Education in the home country; prerequisites must have been completed within ten years before the application deadline. Undergraduate majors in nutrition, exercise physiology, kinesiology, sports medicine, or related fields are appropriate preparation for this certificate.

All courses must be completed at Simmons University. All courses are offered online. The Certificate in Sports Nutrition is awarded to students who have satisfactorily completed the program, earning a B (3.0) or better in each course.
