CHEM 226 Quantitative Analysis
Presents theoretical principles and experimental practice of quantitative chemical analysis. Topics include statistics and propagation of uncertainty, calibration methods, chemical equilibria and titrations, electrochemical methods, spectroscopy and spectrometry, and analytical separations. A special emphasis will be placed on the systematic treatment of chemical equilibria. Three hours of lecture and a three-hour laboratory per week.
