LIS 508 International Perspectives on Managing Archives and Records

This course introduces a diverse number of archival issues analyzed from an international perspective. Topics include historical developments of theory and practice in Archives and Records Management, archival solidarity, social justice, standards, community archives, and contemporary issues related to access, accountability, and memory from international archival contexts.
