Social Work (Minor)

Students interested in the Minor in Social Work should consult with a BSW faculty member to guide them in their course and service learning work.

The Social Work Minor consists of the following five (5) courses:

SW 101	Introduction to Social Work and Social Welfare	4
SW 200	Social Welfare Policy	4
RGS 101/WGSS 101	Identity and Power	4
SW 253	Human Behavior in the Social Environment	4
SW 239	Social Work Research	4

If students pursuing the Social Work Minor already have to complete a social research course as part of their major, then they should complete SW 351 instead of SW 239.
