SW 239 Social Work Research
This course prepares social work students for practice by developing their capacity to analyze, construct, and interpret empirically-based knowledge. Students learn how to construct research proposals that can examine needs, identify strengths, monitor interventions, and assess outcomes. The NASW Code of Ethics guidelines related to research are emphasized and explored.
Notes
Starting 2026 Fall, SW 239 replaces SOCI 239 as a requirement for on-ground BSW students.
